Navin Kundra is a U.K. based vocalist with a slew of hit singles, collaborations, and stunning Bollywood covers. Navin has created a vast and loyal fanbase who is always demanding more! Meeting the expectations, Navin will be releasing his new single "Shudaayi" on August 20, just in time for Eid.
Switching things up for this song, Navin is heard singing in English and Punjabi over a strong Dutch house beat done by Mushtaq. "This is a high energy dance fusion track made to make you move," Navin says in his press release. "This record has been my obsession for the last year and a half, and I have been working very closely with my talented producer, Mushtaq, to ensure that every element of this song is right." Mushtaq is the same producer behind all of Navin's singles.
As we take a look back at Navin's tracklisting, we have seen his sound and style evolve and mature showing great depth in Navin's artistry. We first met Navin as a curly-haired lad with a fun spirit in "Love Thing." The song featured the Bollywood classic "Bindya Chamkegi" associating Navin's sound with Raghav's. With his next release, "Tere Liye," Navin established himself as a soulful singer who can melt anyone's heart. Continuously flipping the script, Navin's "Mehbooba" included a new look and sound which kept bringing us back to the dance floor. The next phase was "Jee Le" where a dose of rock edge was introduced to the Navin vibe we all knew.
As Navin's reputation grew and his artistry became known, he was ready for collaborations. To date, Navin has worked with Karen David, Blitzkrieg, 3Mix, Flawless, and Prita Chabbra, to name a few. His collaborations span across the globe matching Navin's fanbase.
Apart from his constant growth, Navin reveals his look and vocal style aren't all we'll be getting from this release, we will spot songstress Tina Barrett, from the former pop group SClub7, in the music video. In turn, Navin will be featured on a remix for Tina's solo release, "Fire."
Navin is keeping busy, continues to grow, and always impresses. Are you excited for his next release?
