DJ Rekha has released the video for her single "Pyar Baile" co-produced by Dave Sharma and featuring Meetu Chilana and Zuzuka Poderosa. Watch the video here on Desiclub.

DJ Rekha's mission of bringing genre-defying music to discerning ears and global dance floors was taken to a new level with the launch of her label Beat Bazaar Music in November 2011. The label's first single, "Pyar Baile," is now viral with the video release.
"Pyar Baile" is a co-production by DJ Rekha and Dave Sharma. The vocals have been laid down by Meetu Chilana and Zuzuka Poderosa. The video features appearances by all the artists involved on the record. We hear Meetu's single "Pyar Karne Wale" which is a Bollywood oldie from the film Shaan. With Rekha and Dave's new age production, this will be a song a whole new generation will identify with. Keeping her sound appealing to the masses, Rekha chose Zuzuka to round out the track with her Portuguese lyrics. We may not know all Zuzuka is saying, but the track definitely gets you moving. The excitement for the video does not stop there as Panjabi MC headed to Rekha's party and we spot him in the video!
The video has been directed by Ellen Frances and produced by John Durgee, Ellen Frances and Raeshem Nijhon. Talking about her release, DJ Rekha says, "In this video, we wanted to convey the duality of the song as Meetu and Zuzuka's vocals are on the record. The idea was to contrast the vocalists visually as they work in the song while making the video look like it can be anywhere."
DJ Rekha has had years of success with iconic New York Club nights including Mutiny, Bollywood Disco, and the legendary Basement Bhangra, which just celebrated 15 years. In a different field, Rekha has had several stints doing sound design for NPR, and even two plays, one of which is Tony Award winning. More recently, Rekha has performed gigs at the White House, and is teaching at NYU. Just when the world thinks there is nothing left for one of the most powerful South Asians in the US to do, as dubbed by Newsweek, Rekha has a new venture up her sleeve.
