Now here is a Promo album coming out of the Toronto Club Scene, "X-Rated" part 2 by DJ Clymaxxx. Clymaxxx, a DJ known for his triple turntable style definitely showed off the skill on this album with 16 amazing tracks that featured the illest hip hop and R&B mixes, remixes and beats. Normally I skip intros but this one was just off the hook with 22 different tracks neatly cut and mixed together just to introduce Clymaxxx. Definitely an album highlight that blew me away! I played that intro at least three times before moving on.

The album continues with some amazing mixing, scratching and the remixing, just off the hook. I loved the start of track 14, just listen to that first 5 seconds and you get the entire picture of this guy's skill. The track also features a Toronto artist named Blizzard doing a reggae freestyle promo for Clymaxxx, just sweet!

I hear there will be selected distribution of the album, but if you can get your hands on it, it is certainly something to check out! Smooth transition flow between mixes and tracks, amazing remixes and exclusive plugs by artists such as Beenie Man & many others! The only problem with this album was the song selection. Clymaxxx had some wicked new tracks mixed in, but the majority of the mixes were unknown songs or songs that really aren't that great. With such amazing mixing and live remixing talent, it was a shame that the final thought I had after this album was, weak song selection. Still, this is a guy I want to hear live!
