Fusing Naked Beats takes you to another world where music controls your energy, emotion, and complete spiritual existence. The energy and perfection of the beats and melodies in the new album Outer Perspective, get your blood flowing and soul jumping. It's what I call a "natural high," its so much better than the real thing kids. It's great for night clubs and parties but just as good during the day.
DJ Asif is only 25 but has shown the music world that he has a lot to offer. From a young age he was exposed to traditional Asian music and then moved onto a punk band, and finally he started experimenting with Hip Hop and electronic music. The dimensions of his musical ability come through in his work. Each track is filled with passion and musical brilliance as he manages to incorporate a mix of genres that take you to another world.
The rest of the crew adds to the awesomeness of this album as well. Alok is an established tabla artist who has played for India's top musicians. DJ MRT began his work with Fusing Naked Beats after meeting DJ Asif at Westminster University where they both studied Commerical Music. A combination of their styles has created a unique sound from the various genres of music each of these artists have studied.
Two tracks that stood out were Medusa and Pieces of a Dream. The names of the song keep you wondering, and so will I because this is one album you don't want missing from your collection. Fusing Naked Beats, I can't wait to hear more of your stuff and get a hold of your old stuff as well!
