Listening to this CD, I can completely agree with the title. It is indeed A New Dawn. After being bombarded with Mix CD after Mix CD in the last few months, it was refreshing to put an old school style Hindi remix CD into my player. Don't get it twisted when I say old school style - the only thing old school about this is its hot format, which I relate to the original days of the South Asian remix era.

I had never heard about Suj Productions until this CD fell into my lap. From the out set, looking at the CD cover I figured the CD to be very conservative and was not expecting the really energetic and powerful sounds within it. Like woah. Twelve smooth songs and three bonus tracks, which are done by other DJs. I must make a note here, these guys have the respect and courtesy to give credit to these other DJs. Some CDs I've gotten are complete rip offs from others without giving the proper recognition. That says a lot about these guys in itself.

Going into the music, these DJs clearly had the pulse of the market when they made this CD. Why? Because the track listing is almost perfect and the music that is remixed into them is what we've all been craving. An example? The Intro alone is hot but let's take Dil Dooba from Khakee; It's blended in flawlessly with Alabina, which sounds too hot to describe! Then It's Time To Disco, another popular song that had justice done to it with some flavorful Get Up mixing. USA wich LA has Stayin' Alive Vs. Billie Jean - coming together, this is nothing short of a classic sound. Other tracks include Nahin Jeena, Balle Balle by RDB, Ishq Hai Nasha Nasha, Aisa Jadoo and Suraj Hua Maddham - all the remixes done here are nothing short of masterful.

I could go on and on about all twelve tracks but I think you people get the idea. This is a classy remix CD made by professional and talented DJs. I have a feeling that this is going to be especially popular among the ladies, it just has that flavor to it. Go and reward yourself by getting it!
