Out of Five:
Food:
Peta and Poonam hit up this SF restaurant and let us know the drill.
Price:
Peta: I say the prices are fairly decent; you are spending 8 to 15 dollars a plate.
Poonam: They do have plates; or what they call thalis here. Which is kind of a combination platter so you can get more for your money that way.
Ambience:
Poonam: The ambience is nice, there's some real great poses here you can probably say from the Kamasutra. It's a very inviting "Castro-ess" décor. It's very sensual and very warm.
Peta: I would definitely bring a date here - it's very nice!
Location:
Poonam: It's a great location; it's right in the heart of the Castro - right on Market Street, easy access to public transportation and easy access for people who would like to park. Or even walk from their neighborhoods - it's kind of near Castro, Mission and the Haight.
Peta: I would not drive here because I think the Castro lacks parking spaces. Compared to downtown there is no parking garages or anything like that.
Best Dish: Peta: The best is the price - you get what you pay for. Worse hmm, we are going back to the lack of spices.
Poonam: I think because these guys are in a great location, that's probably the better part. And the worst part is definitely the food because we can get better food for the same price - the same cuisine in a different location.
