Look up the word "sexy" in the dictionary and you'll come across an array of definitions. However, the ones that stand out are: 1. sexy - sexually interesting or exciting; radiating sexuality, and 2., sexy - excitingly appealing; glamorous. In this day-and-age, there are many notable South Asian-Indians who are making their mark, whether it be in media, entertainment, athletics, fashion or comedy. It's quite easy to come up with a list of the sexiest South Asian women, but from a female's perspective, there's not much talked about in regards to what's been coined as "eye-candy."

It took inside details, opinions from women, and much contemplating, but I'm proud to present to you, DesiClub's 10 Sexiest Men of 2007 - and not just hailing from the US. These are the 10 sexiest men, ranging from all aspects of talent within our culture, from the US, UK and India. The "Sexiest...," have excelled in their forte and have proven to be the "best of the best." They are unique in their character, their mind-set, and of course, their self-confidence.

1 - Sexiest Athlete - Vijay Singh (US)
Vijay Singh is an internationally known and widely respected professional golfer. He was number one in the Official World Golf Rankings for 32 weeks in 2004 and 2005. Singh has won three major championships, one Masters in 2000 and two PGA Championships in 1998 and 2004. On top of that, he was the leading PGA Tour money winner in 2003 and 2004 - eventually leading him to become a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. So what's the most sexiest thing about Singh? Women love the fact that he's a Fijian, of Indian & Sikh ancestry. And what's more sexier than a name which means, "Victorious Lion!"

2 - Sexiest Movie Producer - Tanuj Chopra (US)
Graduating from Brown University with a BA in Arts Semiotics, Chopra is a name to keep your eyes on. He is currently enrolled in the MFA Film program at Columbia University. Not only is he a recipient of the School of the Arts Dean's Fellowship and the FOCUS Film Fellowship but his most recent film "Punching at the Sun" was featured in the 2006 Sundance Film Festival as well as the Tribeca Film Festival. His other short films Uljhan and Bade Bahiya (Big Brother) have also played in a number of festivals around the country. But what makes Chopra the sexiest of all directors is that he takes his time to work as a tutor and youth counselor for organizations serving teenagers in California and New York!

3 - Sexiest Actor - Sendhil Ramamurthy (US)
At Tufts University, Ramamurthy needed an arts credit to graduate, so he took "Intro to Acting" in his junior year. Who ever thought that a few years down the road, he would be the hottest face on NBC. Save the cheerleader - save the world? Heck, I wouldn't mind being saved by sexy Sendhil! But what make's Sendhil the sexiest of all South Asian-Indians on TV is that he's married to the beautiful Polish-actress, Olga Sosnovska, who can be seen in the new movie, Oceans 13.

4 - Sexiest Singing - Shaan (India)
Since Shaan made his debut in the Bollywood industry in 1999, he's had a continuous flow of hit songs, one after the other. Some of his most notable songs range from his unveiling movie, Dillagi to the recently released, Ta Ra Rum Pum. Since the year 2000, Shaan has won numerous awards, such as the MTV Asia Music Awards, Stardust Awards, Zee Cine Awards and more importantly, the prestigious Filmfare award for the song 'Chand Sifarish' in Fanaa. Not only does Shaan possess the sexiest voice in the current Bollywood music industry, but simply put, he's subhaan allaah!

5 - Sexiest Rapper - Raja Wilco (US)
A performer creates his own world and in that sense he is God because everything holds substance. Raja Wilco has an exquisite and provocative lyrical style. The emotional depths within his lyrics are beyond profound and leave his listeners thinking. Effortlessly, Raja Wilco is able to put his thoughts into rhythms that flow passionately. He's the type of artist who will bring forth hip-hop to those who haven't recognized it before and bring South Asian culture out to the forefront of the mainstream musical culture. Wilco tops it off as the sexiest MC out there because he keeps intensifying his forte and brings our senses back to the soul of the song.

6 - Sexiest Music Producer - Kami K (UK)
As a producer, Kami K wants to do nothing less than push the best talent. From being showcased on smash albums such as Bollywood Breaks and The Streets of Bollywood (Vol. 1 & 2), Kami's only aptitude is not producing talent, it is finding the extraordinary vocalists to go on the beats, which he produces. As a producer, Kami K is credited as a key figure in the creation and popularization of fusing together Bollywood and Hip-Hop styles and effortlessly reaching the masses by his music. His songs are, more than always, "bouncy" and energetic. Kami K tops our list as the sexiet producer, and it's not just because of that addictive British accent!

7 - Sexiest Business Man - Lakshmi Mittal (India)
Residing in Kensington, London, Mittal tops the list as the sexiest business man. And no, it's not just because he's the fifth richest person in the world and the richest Indian, with a fortune of $32 billion! In 2006, The Financial Times named Mittal their, "2006 Person of the Year," and this was topped off by Time magazine coining him one of the "100 most influential people" in May of 2007. But money aside, Mittal is the sexiet business man because after seeing India get just one bronze medal in the 2000 Olympics, and a silver medal at the 2004 Olympics, he decided to set up "Mittal Champions Trust," with $9 million to support 10 Indian athletes with world-winning potential.

8 - Sexiest Fashion Designer - Azeem Khan (India)
Fashion designer Azeem Khan has been there and seen it all. Starting his career under the tutelage of US couturier Geoffrey Beene, he has traveled a long way and now designs outfits for distinguished personalities from diverse fortes. Azeem is prevalently known as the Crystal King for his lavish use of Swarovski crystals and other scintillating and dazzling accessories like sequins and beads in his designs. Amongst his clientele are personalities such as Demi Moore, Hillary Clinton, Sharon Stone, Naomi Campbell, Jodie Kidd and Namrata Shirodkar. But what makes him the sexiest of all designers is that he believes "Every woman has a goddess-like sanctity within. I just bring it out by designing clothes that make them look and feel like a goddess."

9 - Sexiest Model - Upen Patel (UK)
He's a model - he's got a hot accent - he's Gujarati! What a package! Upen Patel is the sexiest model there is because he's not scared to bare it all! With that perfect body, he's taking over Bollywood one movie after another. After making his debut in 36 China Town and showcasing his impressive dance steps on the silver screen, he instantaneously became a heartthrob to girls (of ALL ages) across the world.

10 - Sexiest Comedian - Vidur Kapur (US)
Vidur, aka, the notorious Indian bad boy, has been viewed on MTV World, LOGOTV, NBC's Last Comic Standing, PBS and TV Asia, to name a few - and may you note, he's turning heads (of guys and gals) wherever he goes. His comedy has been a wake up call to the so-called conventional Indian culture. So what's the sexiest thing about Kapur - the fact that he's so honest and shocking about Indian culture and how it relates to taboos, sexual and otherwise.
