Wrong Number is a copy of numerous films made about whodunits. Four friends - Mahi [Richa Pallod], Aarti [Rinku Ghosh], Karan [Parvin Dabas], Monty [Vrajesh Hirjee] make random phone calls to people. The girls tease them and have fun till they meet Raj [Rakesh Bapat], who defeats them at their game. Raj soon becomes a part of their gang and also falls in love with Mahi. Soon strange things happen. Mahi's father [Benjamin Gilani] is murdered and all hell breaks loose. The killer now is hunting the group one by one. Wrong Number has elements of a love story as well as a thriller, which makes it a half baked project. Too many songs mar the flow of the film. The screenplay too is weak. Jignesh M. Vaishnav's direction is deficient. Rakesh Bapat needs to learn how to act while Richa Pallod fares just fine. On the whole, Wrong Number is truly a wrong number. Don't dial it.
