Another double role picture with Shahrukh Khan in the lead role. How is this movie different from any other with one actor playing two characters? Its not, thats what makes the experience of watching it boring. Babloo (Khan), is a sensitive, homely guy who just loves the company of his mother, and when she isn't around he is the most depressed that anyone can be. Sucking his thumb, pouting, and being as childish as he can (trying to be cute), he is your typical Momma's boy. In Khan's opposite double role, he is a macho, leather clad, tough motorcycle ghunda. Destroying the lives of the local Don's who double crossed him and not taking anything lightly, Mannu dada is the complete opposite of Babloo. Later on ofcourse, both men change personalities and the movie is just so predictable from here on in. Mannu becomes nice and Babloo becomes the tough guy - Simply put.
Juhi Chawla does the nicest job in this film, she sort of makes up for the surprising boredom of Shahrukh Khan. Sonali, well, they could've cast anyone to fit her character in this movie. She is just too plain and brought no charm to this production. When will this script writing of double roles end? Its gotten quite boring hasn't it?
