What would happen if the most lovable female lead in bollywood quit? Ever since the news of Kajol's getting married has spread in the industry, rumors of her quitting the industry are also spreading like a wild fire. The main reason for these rumors is that Kajol has not signed for any movie for the last year. One can be choosy but one year seems to be a pretty long time to wait for a good project. It has been assumed that Kajol would leave the world of grease paint and would be a housewife. Actually Kajol's remarks on the Hindi film Industry have given a lot of matter to the gossip mongerers. She has said that any sane person would not like to work in the industry and things of that nature.

Her non-caring attitude has also shown that she is not concerned about her career very much. The dusky beauty is not glamour struck and is not much concerned about the financial gains. Now that there is a green signal from Ajay Devgan's family time has come for the lovebirds to make a nest. Both Ajay's sisters are married now, so Ajay is free from his responsibilities. Ajay's father Veeru Devgan recently has admitted that they would like Kajol to be their bahu as soon as possible. Although Ajay and Kajol have not commented anything about their marriage but everything seems to point out that the shahnais are not far off. This past year has been very lucky for Kajol as three of her movies Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Dushman and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai have been super hits. Its really a great thing to be proud of since 1998 has been pretty bad for the industry and many big budget movies have failed to make any impact at the box office. Shahrukh Khan, who recently did KKHH opposite her says it would be a huge disappointment to him if she left the industry.

This on screen pair was eagerly awaited by the audience ever since Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Kajol has not planned any film with Shahrukh after KKHH. It was said that her beau Ajay does not like her to work with Shahrukh and hence she did not sign movies with him. Nevertheless they did a good job in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and maybe the popularity of such a hit will influence Kajol to think twice about quitting. Kajol must be feeling on top of the world right now with so many hits on her resume. Everything is hunky dory at the personal front also. The only thing that we can hope for now is that she doesn't leave acting after her marriage, a premature retirement of such a talented actress would be a great loss for the Indian cinema. The answer to the question asked earlier is obvious, the fans would be devastated if Kajol quit and the industry would suffer a great blow to its popularity that it might never regain.
