The Shirish-SRK brawl is once again in the news. But this time thankfully, for good reasons. Farah Khan's husband, Shirish Kunder has finally expressed how repentant he is about what he had said about King Khan and his movie 'Ra-One' after its release.

Expressing his heartfelt apologies to SRK; Shirish had tweeted, "I'll always regret one thing that I feel very guilty about. I sincerely apologize for my tweet on 'Ra.One'."

Earlier in January, tweeting about the debacle of 'Ra.One' at the box office Shirish had tweeted, "I just heard Rs150 crores firework fizzle." Obviously, Shah Rukh wasn't too pleased about the tweet. And it was only natural for him to react when both came face to face at Sanjay Dutt's success party of 'Agneepath', organized at a popular Juhu night club.

Well, that night it so happened that a jovial Shah Rukh arrived late at the party at around 3:15 am but was soon cheesed off to see Shirish Kunder at the same venue. The brawl was triggered when the former overheard Shirish utter something mean and ugly about 'Ra One' to somebody. The remark had such an impact on the already miffed Shahrukh that he could not keep his composure any longer. Shahrukh finally reacted by taking hold of Shirish by his scuff, making him sit beside him and having an heated argument. This was followed by the historic slap.

He was heard saying to Shirish, "what do you think of yourself? I'll see to it that you're out of this industry." Shirish didn't take it lightly either and had said soon after that incident, "I was totally unprepared for this kind of an attack. If I was standing in some area where I would expect some goondaism, I would have been better prepared. But this was a classy party. Who would expect someone to jump on you from behind?" The director confirms that Sanjay Dutt intervened to stop SRK from attacking. "I walked out of the party after that. He is taking out his personal frustrations on anyone he comes across."

This ugly incident was followed by numerous meetings at SRK's 'Mannat' to resolve the issue between the parties at war who were once believed to be the closest friends. But once again time proved it is the best healer as both Farah and SRK set out to do projects together and now even her husband is seeking Shahrukh's apologies.
