Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things you do in life. Standing in front of a person, who is close to you, and saying those words, knowing you may never cross paths with him/ her again, really troubles the heart. Still, it is not that bad as there is the hope of you meeting them again, may be due to fate. It is a bit bearable when you know that you will meet him/her again.

Believe me, parting ways is never fun. Until and unless you are parting ways with your nemesis- only in that case, you would be relieved.

Even more difficult is when you are standing and mourning for someone, saying your last goodbye to a loved one. Being at the funeral of a loved one is the most horrifying experience. You don’t know what to say and exactly how to bid farewell. And then, you are taken back to all those moments you have spent with the one dear to your heart. Tears well up in your eyes; saying those unspoken words for you thereby telling the world that you loved someone and will miss him/her.

Then you go numb, with all the grief within you. There is no way to express, no outlet to vent your anger and hurt. You may also regret not having told someone how much they mean to you. You won’t meet the person again, will never get the chance, and the burden of it will always weigh down upon you.

So, it is always better to let the persons know that they are special to you. I would end by saying that saying goodbye is never fun.
