Random thoughts keep wandering
Wandering through the labyrinth of my mind,
They flicker around; come and go
Just like the breeze on a hot summer night!
These trivial thoughts never seem to cease,
And yet no matter how slight they be,
They capture my mind,
Just like toddlers do hearts!
Sometimes profound and insightful,
At others, just frolicking queries,
Dissociated to life in general,
Yet somehow they seem important!
It sends a shiver down my spine,
Just to think of the outcome,
Caused by my acting upon,
Some passing erratic thought!
I don’t know for sure,
Where whimsical thoughts,
Would lead me;
But I do know,
I don’t want to know
Where these random thoughts
Would take me...
