I yearn for the return of my childhood. When I was a child, there used to be no tension. I could enjoy all the time and had no responsibilities that I had to execute. My parents would look after me. I would get to eat delicious foodstuffs. I was a foodie then and I am even now. I didn’t have to labor during my babyhood. Even after I evolved from being a baby to a child, I didn’t have to go to office. Yes, I had to go to school. But all the children have to go to school. However, I didn’t have to shoulder the burden of adulthood. There are so many burdens with which an adult has to live. They range from earning money for your family, finding a job, stabilizing yourself in your new job, buying a new house for yourself, marital responsibilities, etc. Being an adult isn’t a comfortable experience. There are children who constantly crib about wanting to become an adult. They hate going to school and studying. But I want to tell those children that studying and the time spent in school are copiously easier and funnier than adulthood. I feel that adulthood makes your life unfunny and humorless.

One must enjoy as much as one possibly can during one’s childhood. These days are not going to come back. Adulthood rigorously tests your personality. There is a copious quantity of pressure on your shoulders once you attain adulthood. People don’t treat you with kid gloves. Your actions are evaluated scrupulously. If you commit a mistake, you are not forgiven easily. During childhood, even if you commit a mistake, the severity of the punishment is considerably less. Childhood is also the period when most of the human beings are innocent. Innocence rules the hearts of children. Most of them are unacquainted with notions such as jealousness, treacherousness, violence, brutality, selfishness, etc.

However, it is up to the parents to impart good and sensible education at home to their children. You can’t rely solely on the school to build a child’s disposition. Parents have to instill justifiable morals and ethics into the minds of their kids. The values that the children are taught during their childhood eventually determine the path on which the children will travel during their adulthood.
