Hey guys! I'm visiting Philadelphia and staying with my brother here. It took me three days to get adjusted in Philly as I was suffering from jet lag but once I was fine I did not waste a single minute going out of house and exploring the city as it is my first visit to a place in US. And the last three days I've just enjoyed myself doing all the touristy things here.

I love the City of Brotherly Love as they call it. The best part about the city is that unlike other big cities of America, Philly is quite slow and peaceful.  It was amazing to see, Sylvester Stalon’s statue in the ‘Philadelphia Museum of Art’. It is the one that people saw in his famous movie series ‘ROCKY’, and as much as I had heard about it from my relatives, it was more amazing to see that statue in real. Well being a huge fan of Sly and the ‘Rocky’ series I was on cloud nine looking at it. I also went for the duck ride around the city and sailed in the Delaware River.  I saw the famous ‘Liberty Bell’. Best thing I liked was a store where there was Benjamin Franklin’s ghost answering your question which one has to select from the long questionnaire given to you. It was superb to interact with a fake ghost.  What an idea. People can get so creative huh? We definitely don’t have any place like this in Delhi.

As we roamed around the city my brother‘s kids were having time of life as their every demand of ice creams and pretzels were met since my brother didn’t want them to spoil our trip.  During my stay, there was some baseball game played and I witnessed the craze for the game as all people of Philadelphia were supporting team ‘Phillies’ and donning caps and shirts tagged ‘Phillies’. Well, I would say that Philly is a very unique city as its rich history and marvelous statues make it very special. Ohh! Did I talk about the China town in the city? It was wonderful I had some best Malaysian cuisine in a very good restaurant there. Yes! Malaysian cuisine in China town in America! Funny isn’t it?
