I have never kept a diary in my life. If the whole point is to express your self about things you can’t talk to anyone else about, why would you want to put it in writing?? Especially now… at my age… The entire concept is a little weird to me. But lately with all the stuff happening in my life, I figure even this is worth a try…

I’m going to try and pen down my thoughts in this blog and would appreciate any advice or even your comments if any of you are going through the same things. I guess I just want to know that I’m not in this boat alone… I’m sure I’m not, and that’s why I’ve decided to start a blog rather than write in a diary which I would just be doing by myself and probably quit after a few days…

Maybe I’m beating around the bush even now, but bear with me as it will take me some time to open uup. I’m not used to talking about my innermost feelings and thoughts with anyone.. but a good friend convinced me to try this method. Let’s see… I’ve decided that everyday I’m at least going to sit and try to write for at least half an hour… it will give me time with just my thoughts… if nothing else, make me feel lighter…

By the way, did you guys check out the poetry section at Desiclub.com? There is some nice stuff in there… maybe tomorrow I’ll try and post some thing there… I can’t say that I write good poetry but I have dabbled in it a few times in the past… so I’ll dig through some old things and see if I can find them…

Ok, well… this is a good start. Will continue tomorrow and hopefully with something better for you all to read. Ciao!
