Sumeet is the most pleasant of vocal surprises. This soulful beauty came straight out of the Canadian backcountry, born in London, Ontario. She notes Hip-Hop, Reggae, and artists such as Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Angie Stone as some of her inspirations, and she approaches her music with the same down-to-earth elegance.

Her debut independent album Deeper, has been hailed as "flawless" by Vishal Sharma in a review for DesiClub.Com, and is a smooth blend of R&B, Hip-Hop, and Dance Hall. This Fall, Sumeet songs will be featured on a VH1 series, as well as in the Montreal International Film Festival. She recently collaborated with AR Rahman, Muhktar Sahota, and Zakir Hussein on a single, video, and DVD project that will be released in the UK this June. Production on two videos to be shot in Canada and Jamaica is currently underway, along with an upcoming feature on MTV.
