Student Networking
Connecting with Other Groups for a Cause, Agenda or Initiative

Desiclub.com firmly believes in uniting for a positive common cause. To accomplish any significant goal, to use the old cliché, there is indeed strength in numbers. As students try to confront the many challenges that await them, they can best navigate their way around by sharing and helping others with a similar set of circumstances and interests.

A good example of student networking as it exists today is the formation of the various Indian Student Associations (ISA), Pakistani Student Associations (PSA) and South Asian Student Associations (SASA) across all major unversities. The benefits of such groups are profound in that they help integrate and welcome new students while maintaining an existing focus on the culture and common backgrounds through the organization of events and agendas. This has ultimately been used to introduce the South Asian culture to the masses who would otherwise not have been exposed to the culture.

ISAs, PSAs and SASAs are just one example of the benefits of Student Networking. The potential for even greater success can be realized by these groups connecting with each other and other groups in and outside their immediate surroundings (ex: other unversities).

If you're a part of an existing student group at your university and would like to reach out and network with another group with similar interests, we may be able to connect you through our vast network of Student organizations. Please contact us by emailing us. Please be sure to include your full name, contact phone #, and a description of your group or interest.
