Once again, we can't stress enough, save money while you can!  You have until Monday at midnight (pacific) to take advantage of the $65 Early Bird price (not including the Culture Show ($10) or Sunday Night Finale ($25- historically the BIGGEST NIGHT OF THE WEEKEND).  Furthermore, make sure you book your flights departing Monday Jan 16th (there are no actual events taking place Monday, so you are free to leave anytime, but do make sure you're there for the Sunday Finale Party).

Huge response in Culture Show Submissions...get in while you can! Has your school submitted your application for the Annual S.A.S.A. Culture Show?  This year we have upped-the-anti with total prizes of $5000- with Grand Prize winner taking home $3000!!!  You wont have the chance to win if you don't participate.  Many schools have got their act together and submitted their application- has yours?  If not, what are you waiting for?  The deadline for Culture Show submissions is Nov 15th, in the meantime, however, if you do have intentions of participating please email performers@sasaweb.org immediately and let us know, so we can follow up with you when the time comes.

The response to the SASA Rep program has been HUGE!!!  Over 50 schools have signed up and are now officially affiliated with S.A.S.A.  Liaisons will be spreading the S.A.S.A. gospel throughout campuses across the country...and Canada!  Most major schools are participating.   If your school is not on this list, why not?  Please contact us at sasarep@sasaweb.org.  Remember, to be on this list, it isn't just namesake- we need you to have an active SASA Rep whose mission is to spread the word about S.A.S.A 2006 NYC to newcomers.  If you are interested please contact us

Is your school on this list?

We have had numerous inquiries from students regarding obtaining funding for the S.A.S.A. 2006 Conference from your school. Schools have budgets set aside for students to attend conferences, etc.  Ask your e-board staff, or faculty advisor - they may be able to point you in the right direction as to how to obtain the funding you require. 

As a way for the S.A.S.A. Committee to aid you in this process, we have put together a "What is SASA?" .pdf which includes info that your school may request to approve the funding.

Partner with the largest gathering of South Asian students on the continent!  If you have a product, service, website, etc that you would like to promote - SASA is your best choice for advertising bang for buck!  Our website generates a ton of traffic- getting YOU the exposure you need.  Companies such as DirecTV, Ford, USDA and many others see the value in sponsoring SASA...because SASA delivers!
